A multi-media meditation by Steve Slimm
Download e-book - Leave Comments – Thank you
January 2012 – at last I’m able to give you what many have been waiting for – my new multi-media e-book! As you’ll soon discover, it’s not entirely what you might have expected. It’s just that I couldn’t quite bring myself to provide the usual; “Well this is how I paint, and this is how I started, and this is what I think about it, etc.” It just seemed so much more vital and empowering to give you something that’s at least as much about you as it is me.
So the e-book takes the form of an inner journey – if you like. It includes around 40 images of my work, and over 30 pages of text – but not about art. What’s it about then? You might well ask, but all I’m saying is: You’ll have to see for yourself! Anyway, I really hope you enjoy the publication, and get plenty out of it.
You’ll need to register below to receive your copy. This is a new registration, so you’ll need to do it even if you’re already subscribed to my mailing list.
And when you’ve finished looking through the e-book, don’t forget to leave your comments below.
Many thanks - and have an exquisite day ,
Steve Slimm

This extra-special e-book is quite an innovative leap into an extraordinary journey you invite viewers to take Steve. I am sure it will not only be well received but very successful. Every good wish for it’s launch and thanks for all the hard work you must have put into this wonderful viewing experience.
Your paintings are ravishing as usual and so inspiring. I particularly like your acrylic landscapes.
Wonderful concept – incredibly relaxing. For those who follow Steve’s work this is a real must. For those who don’t know his work – go on – jump in!
Slimm`s new expressionism of contemporary art vision is consisting of Western geze. He is looking and waiting for a Western eye . As Camus said in the Mith of Sisyphus;” In a universe that is suddenly deprived of illution ‘s and of light, man feels a stanger. He is an irremediable exile”. Thank you,
As always your paintings are beautifully evocative. The music and words were disturbing to me… spookily hypnotic as if being channelled by someone inviting me into a new cult… is that okay I asked myself? It distracted me from the beauty of the paintings – although each sensory input (the words & the music) standing alone was interesting and thought provoking… too much to integrate simultaneously though … I was left overstimulated… I think I prefer paper books!!
Thanks Steve,
Beautiful paintings – wonderful and eversotrue… words, and some of the music is great too – but I confess some of the music was a distraction for me – and the paintings create the desire to paint so well….. I plan to separate the elements from time to time – I did switch off the sound when just the paintings at the end.
You might not like to do this – but there is a case, I think, for a voice with the words… cos reading and switching to the paintings could be difficult for some – even if not for others.
But I sincerely wish this wonderful project to bring you all the success – whatever that might be for you – your heart and soul desire. Linda
Love you’r style in acrylic thanks Yutta
