framing

Hello,

here are the styles of frame I generally use on my paintings:

They are all hand-made and finished in my studio,

then prepared with gesso and painted (all by my enthusiastic team –  Paul and Helen)

1. One and a half inch wide (and deep) square section pine painted matt off-white.

(I tend to use this on more contemporary/abstract work.)

 2. Two and a half inch wide (around 1″ deep) hand painted obeche wood – two-tone matt finish

The above mouding also comes in 4″ wide, which I use on larger paintings.

(This moulding looks best on work that has a somewhat more traditional feel.)

[Note: Jan 2012 - I tend to now feel this moulding looks best just painted in a single colour - off-white]

If you would prefer a different type of framing on your painting to the one I have chosen for it, please tell me and I can change it for you. (Preferably before I send it out!)

You will need to allow an extra couple of weeks for it to go through my system.
